Running for the Rosé

Who's Kentucky Derby ready to?! I know we are after the Derby Pre-styling event at Don Me Now in Channelside. Hosted with Bubbly Barchique and Ella Bing, The 'Run for the Rose" event made sure we had all our race day necessities from oversized hats and fascinators to spring cocktail dresses and bowties. And of course we cant forget the Mint Juleps and Rose! Woodford Reserve and Whispering Angel also came in house to teach us how to make Mint Juleps and sample magnum bottles of Rose!

Even the little styling details matter! Don Me now doesn't just have clothing but also cute themed. party additions like posters, wall hangings, glasses, napkins and coasters!

The women styling event adorned us with fascinators and flowy dresses more than appropriate for derby days. The shop has a huge selection of hats, shoes, dresses, jewelry, bowties, and you event get to sip while you shop! Located in Don Me Now is Bubbly Barchique, ready to make you a cocktail on hand for all your shopping needs.

The Mens styling event by Ella Bing taught everyone how to tie a bow-tie -properly- and they even had some amazing wooden ones! Talk about class. Their store is located in Hyde Park Village in Tampa, a must see for preppy attire for both men and women!

Big hats are a must!

Whispering Angel Winery makes wines from château d’esclans to make what has reputedly become the world’s greatest rosé. Their objective is to obtain the best quality grapes and wines, committed beside Caves d’esclans, where the vineyards are treated with the same high standards their wine raises. With almost no trace of tannins, this is definitely one of the best rosé I've tasted! Perfect for a spring day.
